One of the main events organised by LWVWOC is the Stanford Hall VW show.

Now in its 35th year, and seen by many as the Gem of the VW show season, the 2011 Stanford Hall event will take place on Sunday 1nd May 2011. For newcomers to the event, Stanford Hall is a stately home set in large grounds in open countryside on the South Leicestershire border. It is in the quiet village of Stanford-on-Avon, which is 5 miles south-east of Lutterworth, and 2 miles east of Swinford. Seen by many as one of the shining examples of the show-season, this is a very relaxed show which is also family friendly.

For those of you coming by motorway, Stanford Hall is signposted from junctions 18 & 20 of the M1 and junction 1 of the M6. Stanford Hall can also be approached from the A14.

Gates open to the public at 8.30am. Admission to this year's event is £7.00 for adults and £1.00 for children and does not cover admission to the house. Dogs are allowed into the event but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Please note that Stanford Hall is a one-day event and no on site camping is available. The Concours D'Elegance is said by many to be one of the best in the country, with eighteen classes this year catering for the whole Volkswagen and Audi range, plus a Superclass for all last years class winners and a Porsche class.

Trading is a major part of the Stanford Hall event, with over 100 traders present last year, catering for most of your VW/Audi needs, from that elusive part you've been looking for for months, through service items to books, memorabilia, models and owners club stands.

After several years of success we will again be having a traditional line up of Historic Volkswagens and we will also have displays put on by a number of specialist Car Clubs.
